Additional instruction will come from Occupational Health and Environmental Controls with an emphasis on topics such as Hazard Communication, Health Hazards in Construction, PPE and Lifesaving Equipment, Fire Protection and Prevention, Materials Handling, Storage, Use and Disposal, Hand and Power Tools, Cutting and Welding, Scaffolds, Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators and Conveyors, Motor Vehicles, ROPS, and Signs/Signals, Concrete and Masonry Construction, Steel Erection, Stairways and Ladders, and Confined Space Entry. Successful completion will result in the issuance of a certificate and a 30-Hour OSHA card.
