The workshop will include an overview of green building and sustainable design, including the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating system as well as the Green Advantage Certification with a special emphasis on tourism related enterprises and buildings for commercial and manufacturing use. Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will be familiar with the environmental, social and economic benefits of green building, sustainable design practices, and best management practices on improving energy efficiency and financial resources available in WV to assist small businesses. Workshop will be lead by Adam Krason of ZMM and representatives of WVDEP, WVDOE, WVU and NCIF.
